This is the volunteer Receptionist. We have two volunteers daily working from 8:00 a.m. - noon or in the afternoon from noon - 4:00 p.m. They collect membership, sell greeting cards, answer the phone, greet people, along with many other duties. An in-service meeting is held each month. If you are a member, your name should be listed on the attendance sheet. You need to circle your name each time you come to the center no matter what the reason or sign in as a guest.
Behind the Receptionist is the office. Feel free to ask the receptionist or staff questions anytime.
This plaque was designed especially for donators for the expansion and renovation project of the Watertown Senior & Community Center.
The snack shop offers: muffins, sweet rolls, crackers, cookies, microwave popcorn, candy, hot and cold beverages. This is a favorite “hang out” to converse, read the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel contributed by Schmutzler-Vick, current magazines donated by Watertown Memorial Co., Inc., and meet friends. This is a room where you can meet someone to talk to before or after an activity or catch up on current events. All of the rooms in the new section have access to the river view deck. What a great view!
The lounge has a beautiful view of the power dam and Rock River. You may put your feet up in the recliner and take a snooze. There are books and magazines to read or to take home. Tables with checkers, chess or Chinese checkers are set up and ready to be played, or you can read, converse, watch TV, relax or fall asleep! This room is not available for rent.
