Update on Street Closure for Division/Boughton Streets

As part of the Annual Street Program, the City of Watertown is performing street repair work this week on Division/Boughton Streets between N. 4th and Hall Streets.  City crews have accomplished the manhole repair work.  With the repairs completed, the City’s paving contractor, Wolf Paving, will be milling off existing pavement and asphalt overlaying the street beginning Monday, November 16, 2020.  The Contractor’s work was delayed due to weather.  The street will be closed to through traffic starting next Monday and will remain closed to through traffic until the project is completed.  Completion is scheduled for next Wednesday, November 18th, but is weather dependent.  A detour will be set up no later than next Monday and will remain in place until the work is completed.  A map of the detour is attached.  Generally, the detour will commence for east bound traffic at the intersection of N. 4th Street and Division Street, traffic will be detoured northerly on N. 4th Street for approximately a mile to the intersection of N. 4th Street and STH 16 Frontage Road, traffic will then be directed onto STH 16 Frontage Road and guided south easterly to the intersection of STH 16 Frontage Road and Boughton Street where the detour will end.  Please click here for the detour map.
