No-interest Housing Rehabilitation Loans Now Available
Housing loans are now available at a 0% interest rate to those who qualify. These loans can be used in three different ways:
- Repairs to a home that you own: Eligible repairs include roofing, siding and porch repairs, electrical upgrades, window and door replacement, connection of water and sewer lines, repair and replacement of heating systems, water heaters, and plumbing systems.
- Assistance in purchasing a home: This program can assist with down payment and closing costs, and eligible applicants will not be required to repay the loan until the house is sold or they no longer reside there.
- Landlord loans: Installment loans are available to landlords who rent to tenants that are low-to-moderate income.
